The Foundation Supports the 10th International Exhibition “Dialogues”
On the 10th of November 2020 Cherkasy Regional Art Museum presents the tenth exhibition of contemporary art «Dialogues». This year it is supported by the Mykola Babak Foundation. The history of the Dialogues project began in 2010 in the main exhibition hall of the Art Museum as a dialogue of generations, genres, images and opportunities. It is a dialogue of old friends and new acquaintances, but always a creative communication about art. In recent years the exhibition has acquired the status of an international project. This year the geography of participants has significantly expanded: representatives from UKRAINE, AUSTRIA, ARGENTINA, BELARUS, GREECE, IRAN, CANADA, CHINA, COLOMBIA, USA, MALAYSIA, MEXICO, GERMANY, POLAND, PORTUGAL, SOUTH KOREA, RUSSIA, FRANCE, CHILE, SWEDEN, JAPAN became its members. A wide range of works from professional artists to beginners, different age groups from 6 to 70 years present to Cherkasy a diverse, bright palette of contemporary art. Each viewer will be able to find something special for themselves – realistic or abstract: painting, graphics, decorative arts, photography or installation. The initiator and constant leader of the project is a famous Ukrainian artist Volodymyr Yakovets. It again disturbs the silence of our city: it attracts, motivates, concentrates, pushes. Participants demonstrate freedom of expression, artistic impulse and their own philosophical reflections. The curator of the project declares creativity, perhaps provocation, but always stylish and with harmony. He and his team enrich contemporary visual art by combining creativity and depth of tradition. The Dialogues project is always a search, experiment and striving for perfection.
